AI Developer → with initial experience in Testing

First 6 months: Testing - Main role: AI Development

We are looking for an AI Developer to start with 6 months of testing - not as a compromise, but as a solid foundation. During this period you will work on a separate solution, understand how our products are built and delivered, and accumulate the technical context you need. You then transition into the AI team where you work directly with models, pipelines and integrations. The main role is AI Development; testing is the deliberate starting point.

THE ROUTE OF THE ROLE

MOON 1 - 6 Testing (onboarding phase)

Manual and automated testing, bug reporting, collaboration with dev team.

LUNA 7+ AI Developer (main role)

Integration of LLM models, development of AI pipelines, contributions to AI-based products.

RESPONSIBILITIES - TESTING PHASE (MONTH 1-6)

Manual and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications
Writing and maintaining test cases, test plans and reports
Bug identification, documentation and tracking through Redmine
Working with the development team to clarify requirements
Contribution to test automation (Playwright, Selenium or similar)
Functionality testing

RESPONSIBILITIES - MAIN ROLE: AI DEVELOPER

Development & Integration

Integration of LLM models (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models) into product flows
Build and maintain text, structured data and document processing pipelines
Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
Tool use / function calling integration to connect models with external systems

WHAT WE WANT

Experience or strong interest in AI development (LLM, pipelines, integrations)
Experience in QA / software testing
Familiarity with at least one programming language (Php/.NET)
Python - a must
Curiosity about AI and willingness to actively learn
Attention to detail and analytical thinking
Clear communication in Romanian and English
Bonus: experience with REST APIs, Git, automation or AI tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex etc.)
