About the project

The project „SMART Building Management System - solution for efficient management of utilities consumption, using Machine Learning algorithms, in the context of SMART CITY”, funded by the North-East Regional Program, is implemented by QUARTZ MATRIX SRL in partnership with the „GHEORGHE ASACHI” TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF IAȘI and has a total value of 8.590.968,04 lei (the total amount of the project according to the contract), of which 4.580.940,16 lei is non-reimbursable funding.

Overall objective

The general objective of the project is to obtain, as a result of industrial research, experimental development and investments for putting into production, two innovative solutions, namely Smart BMS systems for office and industrial, with energy efficiency and comfort assurance component, with role in consumption forecasting, preventive control and automatic detection of anomalies.

The project introduces solutions built on cutting-edge technologies - IoT, Machine Learning and Cloud - that enable automated infrastructure monitoring, analysis and optimization. This direction strengthens Quartz Matrix's research and innovation capabilities and creates a real framework for the development of impactful products.

Increasing competitiveness by investing in specialized equipment

To turn research results into applicable solutions, Quartz Matrix invests in state-of-the-art technology. This equipment supports process innovation and ensures efficient implementation of the two BMS solutions developed in the project.
